It was not a good trip... Pickpockets in Italy Pisa station, luggage that was checked in was cracked open... Not a good experience even though some of the places we went were really nice. Went to service Sunny today. Was supposedly a cheap engine oil change at $58, ended up doing repair works of about $680. I don't quite know where is a good avenue for me to flame as well, like flaming online at their website? But maybe I should just flame here on my own blog. And if people who search about the company saw my blog, then good for you? Not very nice for me to flame on their page since technically I agreed for them to service on the car despite the prices? I should've known better of the prices but oh well. Treat it as an expensive lesson learnt.

So I went to TT Motorsport Pte Ltd at 48 Toh Guan Road East 01-103 Enterprise Hub Singapore 608586. Just sharing my experience, for you to judge, on whether or not it is reasonable? There was an oil change servicing for $58 promo, for Shell Helix 5W40. Sunny was previously serviced at ACMA with the $88 promo, no issues, just oil change, was quite fuss-free. So just trying out this company? Blame myself for wanting cheap stuff I guess? But at the same time, I have the brakes fixed, I believe.

Went to the shop at 12pm with my appointment, Ken (the boss) took one look at my car and said that my brake pads needs to be changed - because of uneven fading on the brake rotors. I had no experience, so I just listened, and gave in to his suggestions. I had previously saw reviews on pages, saying how good the company was, with no hard selling and reasonable pricing. So I just gave in to most of his recommendations.

Went to the nearby coffee shop to have a drink. Shortly after, he told me Sunny needs replacement of air filter and aircon filter, which he quoted me $45 for both. Then he went on with he front brake pads of $90 for both, $120 for plates (in Chinese, pan), wasn't quite sure what that was. So yup I went ahead.

After returning back, was told coolant no more, needs flush and topup again, can't remember quoted price, but I believe should be as per invoice. Remembered quite clearly mechanic told me it is some BMW coolant, so subsequently, I can just topup with water. Was told ATF needs to be changed as well, since its 50k? Major service?

Knowing that I wasn't sure of the brakes service history, we went ahead with servicing the rear brakes since they look kinda rusty and dirty. Upon opening of the drum brakes at the rear, found that it was leaking, so suggested for pump replacement, brake fluid changed as well. Then I just told the mechanic to do whatever's needed, since there seems to be so much issues.

Left the car there for a few hours, came back later. Total bill:
Shell 5W40 oil change with oil filter - $58
Comes with 31 point check, engine bay wash (looks really clean now), and some other stuff, oh i think coolant and ATF topup (which mechanic mentioned not possible to be done since like no more coolant?)
Alpha's CVTF - $80
Air filter and aircon filter - $45
Front brake pads - $90 a pair
Front brake disc skim - $60 x 2
Ferodo performance racing brake fluid - $60
Original rear brake pump - $60 x 2
Rear brake service - $30 x 2
Coolant flushing and coolant - $60
Total bill sums to $680, since given $13 kind discount by the boss

Was told that brake skimming doesn't cost this much, searched on forums, told to be about $50-$60 a pair? Idk. The rest, yet to really search. I guess the more I search, the more expensive I will think it is. So I'll just leave it here for people to take a look, or for people who know the prices. Maybe you can let me know if I have been ketop-ed! Then maybe I can have a better writeup on whether or not to avoid this particular shop.

Went for RT today after a long day of lesson! Had to wear smart casual for the day because of some module that I was forced to take ): Still, glad that it is smart casual, which means I don't have to wear a long sleeved shirt, just a polo tee! So the talk was quite interesting, just hearing the person talk? Then we had this profiling done DISC, which I am S - Supportive, meaning I am reserved (not outgoing) and person-oriented (as opposed to task-oriented). Still not quite sure how people are classified and not sure if I'm really like that hahaha Reserved, quite like it cos I'm quiet? Person oriented, idk, i thought I'm more task focused? But I guess I do value person relationships more than tasks? Hahaha and also I had a bit of fever before RT, didn't feel very well after the trainings ): Going to head to bed early!

So I went to Malaysia today wanting to get the VEP but turns out I didn't manage to get it. I was misled by some VEP advertisement stating that we don't need an appointment now and can just walk in. It is only for Malaysian cars, ridiculous. They should make it more clear instead of wasting people's time.. Oh well pumped petrol and got some clothes from uniqlo!

Have been visiting Malaysia quite a few times these few weeks~ Has many cheap food there (for Singaporeans at least) so its really nice ^^ Had some Liho Cheese Tea that I wouldn't be buying if I am here in Singapore so at least I get to try it there! Singapore sells it so much more expensive and coffee bean has a slightly different menu too, so we can get some nice food there as well ^^ School was boring but had a happy end to the week with bee ^^

So I went to search for squinching eyes because it felt like something to describe my eyes and found out that its actually called squinting eyes... Okay so I'm finally back at home with my fan and bed! Can't decide which one I like more, fan or bed. The fan is so good that helps me sleep well but the bed is equally comfy as well. They cannot do without each other, or I cannot do without either of them... Squinting my eyes now cos I'm quite tired, been like almost 20 hours or has it already been? Woke up about 6.30am today... So back from holiday in Batam~ Feels like my passport getting bent trip by trip... I just got myself a new passport cover, waiting for it to come! To be honest, I feel like there's really nothing much very nice about Batam hahaha maybe I expected it to be better? The place is like quite old, feels cheaper but not so also. I did enjoy Go-Kart and watersports activities, which I think are cheaper? But as a tourist I'm more willing to spend money, so maybe I'll get a similar experience in Singapore as well... For the food wise, its not really cheap also. Compared to the food quality that we get in Tzechar stalls in Singapore, the seafood there like soso only. The portion quite small but price quite ex hahaha Probably won't go back again, JB I think still will hahaha At least I don't have to sit in Avanza in JB!!! I hate Avanza...

Its a sad day today... A day to remember... Caramel passed away today. It has only been three days that she is here, she was suspected to have a bloated stomach and we found her lying down in her cage... Initially we thought that she was just lying down, being really relaxed, like she always was. But it wasn't the case when I tried to move her... Its a really sad day for all of us, really hope that she is in a better place now... Poor girl, really gone too soon... You'll be missed Caramel <3

Its a long day~ Went for a morning run but couldn't complete my 5km ): Used to be able to run 5km within 25 minutes in the gym, but gym has like 0 elevation, so maybe its like very consistent. In the gym, I am also not allowed to slow down my pace and is controlled. Needs to start to learn to control myself while running at the park! Doggo keeps licking his arm and its all red now... So today the plate result came out! Well I have three choices and it was my third one but I like it as well, as much as the other two but just that this one is probably worth the least money haha So there was this period of time I keep thinking about how nice it would be to have this number, then I thought about how I would be disappointed if I didn't get this, afterall its the third choice. Then I started to 'like' the other two. I even had a dream today that I got the second one - 6688 hahaha but still, turns out dreams don't come true! And also, today, went all the way down to Jaybird to get my earphones exchanged. Though its a different model, cos the model was too old, it was still quite nice, considering I paid this little money for it. Now the only problem is I didn't study much hahaha oh well. Cheap meal~

I believe I posted yesterday right? :x So got a refund from my dinner last night. I mean it was a very cheap meal for customers like me, and its not my fault right...? I actually ordered quite a bit to hit the $40 mark in certain food delivery app, got $25 off, pain $15.xx + $3 delivery. However, one order didn't come, like worth $15. Ended up getting a refund for that, only paid $3 for: 5 pcs Gyoza, 5 pcs Ebi fry, 1 Spicy ramen + kaedama + extra soup, for 2 of us. Worth it deal! Me is happy boy ^^ Oh well i still spend a lot on food... Hope for more promo!

So in Singapore, because people are getting lazier and lazier, we don't need to go out to buy food. There are food delivery options that are widely available, and with them having so much promo codes, we're essentially spending lesser, staying at home and waiting for the food to come. So there is a $25 off $40 code, which is really really good. Feeds 4 at the price of $18? Or in another instance, for 2, in this case ramen. So today, I ordered for lunch and dinner. For lunch, they left out one egg. While for dinner, they left out one entire ramen... Not sure if it is my lucky day (paying lesser) or not... Since I don't get to eat the food that I want to eat ): I still ended up being full as well (since we ordered $40 worth of food for 2 people!!!)

Back in Singapore! Good day to end 2018 with Mahjong haha Just learnt how to play the basic version according to SW and its quite addictive! Keep wanting to continue playing hahaha I wouldn't have to sleep if the game keeps going on... It was a 3 hour drive back to Singapore last night and wasn't really very tired, but tireness kicks in when I'm about to reach Singapore! Nice day nice trip ^^
