Follow up

Hello world!

So this is the follow up post to my driving license day, which was yesterday! It was quite a short post yesterday because it was a really long day yesterday! Let's just talk about the whole situation about yesterday as well as today.. So yesterday started off with me going for driving lesson followed by a driving test. As you would have known, the driving test here requires you to go through two stages, which are: circuit and road. So for the circuit, being a private student (learning from a private instructor rather than school), we have less access to the circuit and have to pay more to go for circuit. After going through two of my driving tests, I have been to the circuit for a total of four times. So for my third driving test, I just wanted to book as soon as possible, my instructor wasn't able to give me any circuit because it was too quick. Quick as in the duration from my previous test to my current test was too short. I just went with it anyway, since I think I'm pretty much done with the circuit practicing. I just had a normal road lesson for an hour and went for my test. Thankfully, I was lucky to meet with a good tester (thank you everyone who prayed for me, thank you to all the deities who helped me) as well as having no significant mistakes in the circuit. The tester was rather kind to me, knowing that this was my third try at the test. I didn't had any major issues with my driving, so he passed me! I was so thankful to him, I don't know how to describe hahaha I have been waiting for the 'Passed' status for sooooo long! Then collect license took a long while, blah blah and the time goes by... Then I went to picked up my first passenger after getting my driving license and off we went to an even tinier island by the coast of Singapore (its still part of Singapore). Paid a hefty $10 to get into the island, had lunch, walked around, but its okay, it was good money spent, for 'celebration' of me passing my driving license hahaha So later we just drove around to find carpark at where we should be going. To cut things short, I went through two tolls road, spent a few bucks there, missed my carpark entrance, had no way to go back without paying another toll, stuck in the jam, being almost running late. Well that basically explains why driving a car (especially in town) sucks in Singapore!!! Then on my way home yesterday, I turned at a wrong exit, went into the tunnel, stuck in a jam again, what a waste of time and fuel... That's about it for yesterday! Now its about today. So for my second day of driving license, brought my mum to a nearby hawker centre for lunch, then went home. Drove out again, this time to a shopping mall with my bro and mum to run some errands. Then out with my friend and his friend, to buy some stuff and have dinner. This was considered a better day because its a public holiday called Good Friday. I read a post somewhere of a father saying that his son said that this was a good Friday because there is no school. To me, this is a good Friday because carpark fees at housing estates are waived! I paid no parking fee today!! What. An. Accomplishment. Good day good day!
