Hello everyone!!
Oops its been a long while since I last blogged! Even though its after my exams but I've been blogging little recently! Have been playing private server for MapleStory actually! So I'm going to start back to blogging! Lets talk about my experience for the past few days. So actually there was a very very big event that was ongoing here in Singapore, and if you know, its actually a marathon. Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore. Yes, to me, its the largest marathon that you can find here in Singapore. Maybe Sundown marathon is also another large marathon here, where to literally run till the Sun rises. But for this marathon, it actually starts at 5am, at the Central Business District of Singapore, its like planted right in the centre, where you have all those big big brands. So they actually closed down quite a number of roads, yeah roads, because of the number of people running for this marathon. So I actually ran with two of my classmates for the 42.195km marathon, and we finished separately. We actually planned to complete the race together, but each of us ended up lagging behind one by one. So for the first few kilometres of the race, I was already thinking, wtf am I doing with my life...? Then the running soon became walking and I ended up slower and slower. For the last ten kilometres, I walked for almost the whole time, counting the time I would need to finish one kilometre. So I actually thought I could finish one kilometre in ten minutes just by walking, but actually no. So in order to squeeze my time in, I jogged for some parts of every kilometre, so that I can keep it at 10 minutes per kilometre. But then, for the last few kilometres, I became really really tired, so I just walked through hahaha It was a good experience, extremely hot (since I was extremely slow) and I got my finisher tee in the size I wanted, thats good! The finisher tee is actually on a first-come-first-serve basis, so if you're too slow, you don't have a choice, grab whatever there's left... So its been two days from the marathon, and I'm still recovering. It hurts to walk around, especially in my house, where I have to climb the stairs. But soon enough, I'll bid goodbye to this house and move over to a tiny little house, but with swimming pool downstairs!!! Okay I'll be looking forward to it hahaha
Bye!
